My 2005, 5 cylinder GMC Canyon needs a new cylinder head. There is a TSB out that it needs to be done and my truck has all the systems. Replacement parts and labor is $2800 or more. I am past warranty with my mileage as I travel for work from this truck. Is there anyone I can contact at GM to get some kind of help on this? Has anyone had this problem and what did you do? Do you have any suggestions? Help
Unfortunately if you are over 100,000 miles they won’t do anything. Mine has 95,000 and they will replace it. But the new one hasn’t had any changes made to correct the problem. After mine is fixed, I am moving on to something different.
