And it would be helpful to give us the exact error code(s). There are a few codes that point to the EGR system but the fix isn’t always replacing the EGR valve.

I don’t think I have the exact error code(s), should they have given me a print out from the scanner? This is what it says on the service reciept, not sure if this is the code or not but you may recognize it:
“Check engine light on, has DTC: P0405 EGR position sensor low. Diagnosed as bad EGR sensor”
I would like to state for the record that 55k could be the breaking point for 2005 Chrysler T&C egr valves. i have the same problem, and will begin work in the garage as soon as the part comes in.
