Oil light comes on and beeps when I hit the brakes. Then it goes off when the car is moving…
Is the oil level correct ? When was last oil change as you may be past due.

When you brake the oil is sloshing toward the forward part of the engine and triggering the low oil sensor. That wouldn’t happen if there were enough oil in the crankcase. Keep driving it like that and your car will die of neglect. Check the dipstick and add enough oil to bring the level to “full.” Figure on two or three quarts. Then have the oil changed and check it regularly, say once a week.
