2004 Nissan Sentra with squeaking automatic transmission

Hi! I have a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8S, with automatic transmission and about 67000 miles on it. It works great except that every time it shifts from 2nd to 3rd I hear a brief squeaking noise, and the shift is not as smooth as the others.

I would liken the sound to the tire squeal that some people can pull off on standards when they are shifting from first to second (a favorite activity among teenagers). But I have not been able to determine if it is the tires or the transmission or both making the noise.

What could this be and how much would it cost to fix?

Check the tranny mounting bolts.

If it was the bolts, wouldn’t it make the noise with every shift? Right now it is only happening when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Every other shift happens very smoothly but here the car actually jolts a bit.
