New Engine *long story hit dog caused massive engine damage. had new engine replaced a few months ago - radiator was not replaced at this time - had to have radiator replaced aprox month ago.
The radiator flud is rust colored - not green like antifreeze should be… there is a hissing noise at the back of the engine but no visible leaks of radiator fluid are seen BUT fluid is leaking out.
Any clue as to what the problem might be…
We took the car in for an oil change and they checked the fluid level in the radiator and found it to be again dark colored - rusty looking…
They suggested flushing the radiator so we did - several times and replaced the antifreeze etc to the level it is supposed to be.
NOW we’re still seeing this same nasty brown rusty colored fluid AND again the hissing is still going on (sounds like it’s coming from the rear of the engine.
