hi, i just bought a 2004 dodge dakota V6 3.7 from carmax. It seems to run fine but when I accelerate the motor fan is very loud. Is this just how the truck is, or is there something rong that im missing?
Does it have an electric fan or a regular fan with a viscous clutch. The fan on my 95 Dakota was pretty loud until the engine warmed up.

I bet it is the fan clutch. The fan on my 96 Dodge van was too loud and running too fast until I replaced it with 2 electric fans. I don’t know how it will work out when the weather gets hot.
