This morning I lost a piece of my heat shield thought I don’t need this and tossed it in my tool box. Well this afternoon the underage caught fire right were the heat shield should have been very small not much damage mostly just a little bit of the installation stuff. What’s the earliest way to reapply the shield if u don’t have a welder and should I replace the burnt installation where can I find it
You can get a huge hose clamp from the plumbing section at your local hardware store and strap the heat shield back on.
