Occasionally doesn’t want to change into high gear.
I presume you have an automatic transmission. Have you checked the fluid lately? When was the last time it was changed? You might dodge a bullet with basic maintenance.

Are you accidentally hitting the overdrive lockout button? I think on that model and year it is on the gear selector. I may be mistaken. Check it out.
