2003 Nissan Pathfinder - Won't start

pathfinder 3.5 v6 crank but do no start

I am guessing you are asking for help?? no punctuation

Slow cranking, or normal cranking, very fast cranking??

Any codes before this happened, any pending codes now??

Nissans are very bad for the crank and cam sensors going bad, crank sensor may or may not produce a CEL…

Ask your shop to check for spark. If spark is good, make sure fuel injectors are being pulsed. Spark ok and injectors pulsing? Fuel pressure test. (Make sure you aren’t out of gasoline first of course, don’t trust the fuel gauge.)

Squirt some starting fluid into the throttle body while cranking. If it starts and runs as long as you are spraying, you have a fuel problem. Bad pump relay, fuel pump, or wiring.

A bad crankshaft position sensor will prevent an engine from starting.

Tester

This engine has three timing chains, each with their own tensioner. And these are hydraulic tensioners, which use the oil pressure to keep the timing chains taut. Hopefully, the engine hasn’t jumped timing due to a failed tensioner/worn guides. Does it sound normal when trying to start?
