I am the original owner of a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid with 125,000. I have replaced the hybrid battery and the A/C compressor. It is in excellent condition in terms of the interior and exterior. My question is whether I should replace the transmission start clutch for $1,800 when the car is only valued (Kelley’s) at $4,800. I had this replace in 2008 by Honda under their Service Bulletin. I don’t need this extra vehicle, but just not sure if I should fix it and continue using or just get rid of it. It also will need new spark plugs, an engine mount, and a few other minor things. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
