Regardless where I put my switch for air , it stays on defrost
The actuator has probably gone bad. There could also be a vacuum line that came loose.
The mode door actuator has failed.
The default for when the mode door actuator fails is defrost.
That’s so if it fails in the winter, the windshield can be kept clear.
