2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 engine died and won’t start

Went 3 blocks from home, engine quit would not start, towed back home
haven’t been able to start again.

Squirt some starter fluid in the intake while someone tries to start it. If it runs as long as you are spraying the fuel pump has likely died… if even that won’t start it, it may be the crankshaft position sensor. Cheap sensor located on the passenger side of the engine block near the starter.
