I have a Windstar that the brake lights keep comining on, on the dashboard. I have changed all 4 brakes drums and rotors. Any suggestions?

Have a brake repair shop check the brake master cylinder and the rest of the brake system for leaking, or other defects. If the hydraulics go out, new brake pads won’t make a bit of difference…there won’t be any brakes.

Also, check out your parking break switch, should be under the boot around the lever. Unplug it and see if the light goes out. If it does, that’s your culprit.

If the brake comes on during turns, the level may be a little low and setting the brake light. Check the master cylinder. This happened on my 98 Windstar.
