i lost my keys 3 days after buying 02 protege 5 manual trans. im no mechanic when i drilled and taped the ignition took cylinder out struck a screwdriver inti it and nothing. after ABOUT 3 HRS IT FINALLY STARTED NOT SURE HOW. DROVE HOME AND IT STALLED LIKE A QUICK POWER SURGE. GOT HOME NO START NO CRANK REPLACED STARTER AND NOW CRANKS BUT NO START. FUAL PUMP NOT MAKING ANY NOISE
That was your first mistake . Now you need a good lock smith or even a dealer to replace all those parts .
