Rapid clunking on take off from beneath the car

Could be some exhaust component loose, heat shield, engine bad mount, maybe brakes.
Having checked all these items, the only questionable Item. The differential mounts, top on cross frame of the Diff. When jacked up and resting on the frame sections, I have a gap on both mounts. At the top of each bushing to the frame is about a 1/4 inch gap as if the differential is hanging and produces gap?? I see rub marks on the upper frame with the dimple marks of the bushingShould this gap be there???
