2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - AC issue

My outside sir/ recirc does not seem to be working. the air does not get cold. system is fully charged. can you help

You may have a basic A/C system fault, or you could have a problem with one of the HVAC doors under the dash which route the air in the proper direction for the user’s settings. These sorts of problems often not diy’er friendly, suggest to consult an A/C specialist.

You have more than one electrical blend door actuators. I’d suggest one has failed, especially if you hear a click click click noise.

If you have cold air on the Passenger side but not on the drivers side, and you have the dual climate controls, then it is an actuator. First step is to realign the actuator, easy peasy, lots of You Tube videos on this, only takes a couple of minutes.

If that doesn’t work, then you need a new actuator. There are plenty of cheap after market actuators out there but none work. You must get the correct AC Delco actuator and it is not cheap. It is not too hard to replace though.
