What are the potential problems that can be caused by a repair shop continually (but sporadically) trying to start a 2001 VW Beetle with a starter wound backward (rotating the engine in reverse) over a 1 week period. I have multiple thing that have happened, but I wanted to ask opinions before tainting the results with my potential items that have occurred since then.
