My 2001 subaru outback wagon when put in park doesn’t shift out of that position unless I access the little hole for releasing the shift module and put it into gear. What is the problem? The fuse for the transmission is good. outside fuse box. Help?
Have someone check if your brake lights are working when you do this. If not, then you need to replace or adjust the switch at the top of the brake pedal that’s supposed to register that the brakes are being applied.
