My 2001 pontiac grand prix brake lights(all 3) will come on when I press on the brakes. I’ve replaced one of the bulbs but it did not work and the old bulb looked good.

Have your mechanic check the brake light switch. These models of GM products also have a multifunction switch problem. Do your turn signals work both left and right? If they don’t then the multfunction switch may be keeping your brake lights off.
