I’m suggesting that we give people the benefit of doubt. Regardless, was it pertinent to resolving the problem? Was being critical of that aspect of the OP’s post constructive or divisive? OP, are you able to post a photo of the situation you got there? This sort of problem usually requires quite a bit of fiddly work to solve, but there may be a simple solution in your case. Hard to tell without seeing a photo.
Stuff happens, our 2017 rav 4 could not pull the dipstick to check the oil. It was rusted in place. Dealer pulled the tube, lubed it and said it was probably due to condensation from short trips. It leads me to wonder if they ever checked the oil level after changes, but fix was free to me.
