There is a problem shifting between 2nd and 3rd gear.Toyota said a new trans needed. Engine has a misfire also ,this started after a tune up aand trans fluid change. also changed o2 sensor. amcoo said there are damaged wires they will fix and that misfire is caused by a bad coil I replaced 5! they also said trans needs a soft rebuild. Help help help!!!
- Get a second opinion on the transmission, from an independent shop.
- If the tune up was done within past three months and 4K miles, go back and see what they can diagnose on the misfire. A proper computer diagnosis should have narrowed down what the misfire issue is. Not so sure AAmco is the proper place to deal with engine misfires.
