My 2001 Ford Focus intermittently stalls when I am approaching a stop. It just shuts off without warning, but then always starts again. I took it to the dealer and got the “we can recreate your problem” line, which is not surprising, because I can’t recreate it at will either. Any advice is appreciated.
Just a wild guess but may be the IAC Valve. Might see if it can be cleaned to see if it helps. If it does then the next time it does it you might replace it.
Maybe the torque converter is not unlocking.
