For over a year, my car has failed to start when I turn the ignition. It is as if the battery is dead. I will go into the house, get my husband, and he can start the car. I have taken it to a reputable mechanic and he can do nothing because it works fine for him. Most of the time it starts but I am always afraid that it will not this time.
Next time it happens, put it in neutral then try it. If that works it may be a faulty park switch. And or have someone clean both battery cables both ends. It could also be a starter at the onset of failure.
Have your husband watch you try and start the car to see if there is something you are doing or not doing.
Thank you so much.
