2001 Acura CL-S -- Periodic no start

I’ve owned the car for eight years - 86,000 miles total. For four years, periodically (6 or 7 times/year,especially in strong Florida sun’s heat), the engine will crank strongly but not fire up, no matter what. I usually have to raise the hood and wait 20 minutes to an hour before it kicks in. I can never get it to my service center while it is in this condition for a computer check. Suggestions have been the computer module, in-key electronics, & key direction. No help.

The problem might be with the main fuel pump relay. Honda/Acura vehicles have a history of these relays being effected by heat preventing the engine from starting. The relay is located behind the dash above the drivers left knee.
