Just curious why’d you’d buy a DOT 3 when DOT 4 is a better choice. Was it price?

[image] Subie1984: Clutch fork squeaks a little when depressed. I had this on a couple cars. It can take some maneuvering, but with each I was able to squirt some TriFlow or lithium grease on the squeaky moving part and the action got smooth and quiet.

Hey Ken, The vehicle shifts great without catching, grunts or grinding, but again I’m an amateur and might not be picking up on the small signs. I’m going to take it to a more experience mechanic and see what they say. I’ll let you guys know what the verdict is. Thanks for all the help

Caliper and wheel cylinder seals withstand 1,200 psi when braking but when at rest air can get by them? That’s the part I don’t understand.
