2000 Saturn SL1 Intake Air Reading Hot

Last summer, and all winter the intake air temperature has been accurate to within a few degrees of the actual air temperature.

However, recently as Spring has sprung in northern PA, I’ve noticed that the intake air temperature is running about 20-25 degrees warmer than the ambient outside air (while driving).

I have checked for cloggage of the intake air hose/filter and did not see anything.

Does this indicate a faulty sensor? Something else? Thoughts?
