Coolant is disappearing suggesting a head gasket leak but we cannot find any coolant in the oil and no apparant leaks. What do you think is happening? Today we had no heat and the coolant was gone from the side tank overflow.
It’s gotta be going somewhere. Does the exhaust look fluffy white? Any green puddles? Floor boards wet? Ho often do you have to add coolant?
And what does the oil look like, does it seem white and foamy?
No smoke. No puddles, Floor boards are not wet. Coolant additions are getting more frequent; now about every other day, about a pint to a quart.
Oil is clear and clean…no foam or water.
Did you pressure test it? Coolant can be slung away, without a trace, very easily when the vehicle is moving.
