2000 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 4x4

I have a 2000 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 with 5.3 L. motor. When it is below approx. 15 degrees F., it won’t hit the first time. It takes 5-6 hits to start. Once it hits and starts, it like the first time, no miss what so ever. Also there is no message in the message window on the dash. Is it electrical, coil pack perhaps. It don’t seem to be mositure related. Please call if you guys have any thoughts. Thanks for your time

You should have eight separate coils on the engine so it will be hard to tell if it is coil related. Unless you have them tested. See if your owner’s manual recommends that a heater be installed on the engine. They usually have that inormation under cold weather.
