2000 Camaro Trouble

My 2000 Camaro is a 3800 Series II. V-6. On occasion the car hesitates over and over again while I try to accelarate. It seems as if it is starving for gas for only a second. If I hold the accelarator it misses continuously every few seconds. If it dies, it will not start for about 10 minutes. Other times, the car runs perfectly. Could this be a fuel pump on its way out, or could it be a sensor somewhere? My first thought is the coil…

Get the check engine light read at an auto parts store. Post the trouble codes here. Has the fuel filter ever been replaced? If not, do it.
There are more things which can stall an engine, and can cause a hot engine to not start. Get the codes and bring them here.
