My 1999 volvo v70 air conditioner has failed. When recharging was attempted the dealer discovered an apparent leak in the evaporator coil and the repair/replacement costs are crazy high. Is there any alternative? Would a spray sealant actually work or is that a scam?
No. The evap coil handles pressures up to 300 PSI. Replacement is the ONLY option.
