I have a 1999 outback, family owned, bought in 2000, 87,000 miles. Over heating problems, shop said head gazette. problems with the dash lights and other electric problems. paid a shop in lake county $2000. The problems came back.
Well . . . what did this “shop in lake county” do for your $2000?
And how soon did the problems reoccur?
If the problems reoccurred 1 week after they performed their repairs . . . whatever they were . . . then I’d say they need to look at the car again. Improper repairs and/or diagnosis would be my guess
But if the problems reoccurred 2 years after the repairs, the shop is off the hook. Because many shops guarantee their work for 12 months.
