Yes, but you might want to compare rebuild cost to purchase a brand new long block from GM

Agree with the new long block thought. There are also rebuilders that will sell a reconditioned long block. There are suppliers that will sell you a new or rebuilt 6.2 liter you can slip into that '99 TA.
