I am looking at a 1998 Legacy Wgn, 130,000 miles. When we started the car, it made a distinct, clicking noise. My friend who actually knows what he is looking at said it sounded like lifters making the sound. The dealer said this sound was “normal” in older Subarus. Help me out here owners of older Subarus.
