My 1998 e-320 starts and runs for 2-3 minutes the 1st time when it’s cold,then just dies! When I re- start it it only runs about 2 seconds then dies like it is running out of fuel. I have already replaced the fuel pump $197.00, fuel filter $58.00, Fuel pump relay $22.00. Do you think it may need a ECU? Any suggestions?
Pay for a proper diagnosis and ask for an estimate to repair
I sure hope those parts weren’t replaced based on somebody’s guess, versus an actual diagnosis
There are a lot of things which could cause the situation you’re describing
A proper diagnosis will rule out many of these things, and hopefully arrive at a smoking gun, so to speak
