Just got a new battery installed and all of a sudden the car won’t idle in Park. They tell me it’s an $800.00 part from Mazda - but it didn’t do that before they changed the battery.
It would be very helpful to list what the “$800” part is.
Disconnecting the battery erases some of the settings stored in the engine control computer, and these settings are relearned as you drive. So the problem may cure itself. If it doesn’t, the idle air controller may be dirty.
