My girlfriend has a 1998 Cheve Cavalier that recently on the way to work completly blow out the number 3 spark plug. It was completly gone and poofs of air now come out of it’s place?
This was probably caused by whoever overtightened the spark plugs whenever they were last changed.
The cure is going to be a thread insert, or Heli-Coil, new spark plugs (plural) along with a careful inspection of the threads on the other spark holes.
The car should not be driven in this condition.
