Car wouldn’t start. Disconnected battery to reset. Knocked solenoid. Now turns over fine, but will not start.
If it turns over OK, that means the starter motor and battery are OK. You have a no-spark or a no-fuel condition. Or, very slim possibility, a timing issue.

Thank you. :You are correct - no fuel. But why? It’s shut off by alarm system. Yet car turns over. An anti-theft related relay, or?
When you disconnected the battery you probably tripped the anti theft system. Find the manual for the alarm and go through the reset procedure
