Rough idle at time of starting. Misses when accelerationg. Spark plugs, and fuel ejecters changed

was this the reason for changing the plugs/wires?
or has this poor idle/missing started since the plug/wire change?
A 12 year old vehicle needs a nice, clean, NEW fuel filter. And air filter.
