My 97 ranger v4 has 8 spark plugs. I’ve change spark plugs on a Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, finding the spark plugs at the usual location. However, I’m unable to find them on the ranger. Anyone know there they’re located? I notice there are 8 electrical wires connected to some sort of “block” w/ detactable plugs similar to a spark plug wire, but after I unplug them, the spark plugs aren’t there.

Waaaay down there. If you can follow the wire, you can find the plugs.
Each side of the engine, about half way down. The ones on the driver side are behind the intake manifold and are fairly difficult to get to. As Ken Green said “If you can follow the wire you can find the plugs.”
