Anyone have a clue what my explorer might need? check engine light on: PO455 (large evap leak).Wondering if anyone has an idea what part went bad? Thanks!!
Problem with the evaporator system.
Something in the fuel vapor evap system is either plugged, broken or saturated.
It could be a rusted out filler pipe, a worn gas cap seal, a loose or damaged vent line , a saturated charcoal canister, a plugged or faulty purge valve control solenoid.
Check around the radiator for a vacuum hose routing diagram and make sure there is none disconnected or damaged.
Your owners manual may show the diagram.
