My daughter’s car is a mystery.The car will not start, it will be towed in and then start over and over again at the shop,where everything checks out.She drives it away and 2 hours later it will not start again.Lights etc. do come on. Please help!!!
I’m afraid it will remain a mystery unless you can tell us whether or not the engine is getting spark or not. The same question applies to the fuel.
If the engine is turning over with the starter but doesn’t fire, lightly spray a little engine starting fluid into the air intake.
If the engine fires up then immediately dies, there is no fuel getting to the engine. Check fuel pump pressure and change fuel filter.
If nothing happens, it’s a good chance there is no spark.
If no spark, check coil packs for 12V when cranking engine.
