I have a hot-start idle/run issue and I’ve been advised to check the fuel pressure when the problem is occuring.
I have a fuel pressure guague…but where do I attach it? more than one place?
V6 4.0L EFI w/AT 1995 Ford Explorer

Locate the injectors. They are all fed by a common “fuel rail”. Somewhere along this rail is a little cap covering a standard schrader (tire) valve. Check the pressure at this point. In many cases, a tire pressure gauge will work…
