So stupid but I was Gonna top off my oil and I put about a decent cup full into my power steering, would that do any harm for one day of driving till I get it filtered

Probably no damage. Engine oil is thicker than power steering fluid but both are oil. You don’t get the power steering filtered, you get it changed. There is no way to filter out the engine oil you put in.

Just get the oil changed when it’s due.

The issue isn’t oil, it’s power steering fluid. PS fluid is only changed every 30-100k. But in this case it needs to be changed sooner rather than later.

I read that OP poured PS fluid into the oil not the other way around. :woozy_face:
