I had new calipers, brake lines and brake hoses put on less than a year ago. Since then, I’m hearing a clicking noise that corresponds to the speed of the tire rotation, which stops when I apply even slight pressure to the brake as I’m moving. There’s also a lot of clanking noise from what seems to be the front left side when I take even small bumps. When it was on a lift, I spun the tire slowly and heard what sounded like ball bearings clicking together. Is that normal? I feel like it isn’t. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Check if the brake hardware kit was installed…I would guess it wasn’t.
It probably is a wheel bearing. You need to get this car in for repair ASAP and drive slowly.
Better yet, get it towed. Losing a wheel is very bad news.
