1994 Chevy Silverado ignition

Very infrequently when I pull up to a stop sign or cross railroad tracks, the truck goes dead and will not restart UNLESS I turn the key completly off. It then restarts immediately.

Any ideas.

What happens when you try a restart after a stall? remenber there is a big difference between “my car wont start” and “my car wont crank”

First order of business for me would be to fix the intermittent stall problem.

I had this same problem on my VW.

The truck restarts immediately after I turn the key completely off.
