speedometer stopped working but odometer and trip odometer still work. 1994 astrovan. everything else works fine
Likely the speedo itself failed since the van is still getting signals from the transmission to drive the odometer.
You’d have to find a replacement dash cluster to fix it or a company that repairs such things as you will not be able to buy a new one from GM for this 24 year old van. Not easy or cheap.
Or if you have a smart phone, get a GPS speedo app for free for the phone and a dash holder and use that for your speed.
Thanks for the reply. Was hoping to be able to just replace speedo instead of whole cluster. Can’t find anywhere on internet though. Am using a speedo app but wish speedometer worked. Thanks again
