It sounds like my car is having a hard time going to the next gear it revs high then goes to the next gear
You don’t say how many miles are on the car but it sounds like the car is having transmission problems. Take it to a local independent shop and have them check the fluid level and color. Stay away from the chain stores like AAMCO’s and such.
Given the age of the car, it may not make sense to rebuild the transmission as it would be more than the car is worth.
