1993 Chevy Lumina APV mini-van

I am having problems with the van cutting out and seemingly not firing correctly when rolling down the road. It dies sometimes at a stop also. I looked at the throttle body and the one jet sprays and the other drips. The car sometimes runs right and the check engine lights goes off. I am not sure where to go with it. I took the distributor cap off and it looks like there might be and arc from one point to another inside the cap. Thanks for your input.
