1989 Honda Civic Rear Brake Lights Will Not Turn Off

I have a 1989 Honda Civic SI. All of a sudden my rear brake lights will not turn off. No prior problems, just happened immediately.

Beside electrical, what else could be the problem?

Check the brake switch. It could have come out of it’s mounting bracket. It is located under the dash on the brake pedal.
