I was wanting to know if silicon will patch a hole where my roof rack’s wen’t.
Instead of silicone I’d suggest a two-part epoxy. You can buy it anywhere and it’ll be much more durable.
Carriage bolts and fender washers sealed with silicon might make a durable patch.
